In fact it is so popular that Trinidad State Jr. College has not long ago begun a new Advanced Third Year Program. You have to be a graduate of a gunsmithing school before you can start this new program. The faculty at this school highlight that they only take the top twenty five per cent of graduates from gunsmith programs across the country.<br /><br />The third top gunsmithing school is Yavapai College, which offers two paths of study. You can study in a certificate program or a degree program. If you decide to pursue the degree program, you will need to take general education courses as well as dedicated gunsmithing courses. In the certificate program, you do not need to take the general education classes and focus mainly on gunsmithing. Yavapai will teach you to qualify as an apprentice gunsmith and all the way to becoming a master gunsmith. The course requires that you complete forty credits which will take you four semesters.<br /><br />These three schools would be a good choice for anyone interested in pursuing a career in gunsmithing.
